Paranormal experiences from Ms Linda C.

I have had paranormal experiences from the time I was a teenager. We had one or more ghosts living in the last house we lived in (it was 90 years old) they lived in the closets. You could NOT keep the closet doors closed overnight. The closet door in my bedroom had to be slammed shut and many times could not be opened when this was done. It was always open when I woke up. Very warm, friendly, hospitable place of residence. The ghost was a young woman dressed in a flowered dress with a matching large brimmed hat. She called to Sarah while Sarah was arranging her room - the first day Sarah was alone in the house. She called, Sarah turned around, saw her in the far corner of the room, she then vanished.

My friend, Dianna, daughter Sarah, and I were driving around Charlottesville, Virginia looking for a place for us to live and a job for me so Sarah and I could relocate in this area. The jobs were scarce, and apartments not acceptable. The weather was rainy. We were lost, drove down a steep incline to a shabby residential area. There was a raging stream at the end of the street, no barrier. I noticed some old brownstones, commented "Those would really be sharp if they were fixed up. Look, how bad could they be? There's a Mercedes parked over there." I immediately got a cold chill - said "Let's get out of here." Dianna said "You feel it too don't you?" Sarah was in the back seat - got a pain across her back where the light from the window shown in. We immediately turned around. As soon as I saw the brink from the townhouses through the back window I became very frightened. We sped up the hill. I asked Dianna (also psychic) how people could live down there - she said they don't feel it. The feeling was one of intense, complete EVIL. My feeling was it had to do with drugs, small child and a murder - of the child. Either now of in the past. There was probably a ghost in the car - not a nice one either! Dianna (lives in MD has family in Charlottesville) went back to try and go down the street again - the feeling was perceived at the top of the hill. She never went down. Neighter she nor I have ever felt anything of that intensity. My 15 year old daughter who is very independent slept at the end of the bed with us with her thumb in her mouth. We still talk of this experience.

In November I was at Dianna's house. I had traveled from Cleveland and was very tired. Dianna has several antique shops. Her neighbors (also into antiquing) were over. Later than evening we went to their house and they had just purchased some antique jewelery. We were looking at it - he gave Dianna a ring and asked her opinion - she didn't like it. Handed it to me. I held it and immediately wanted to put it down - did not look at it - felt it was very unhappy. They gave me other jewelry - I held it under the table - and was able to get a clear picture of where it came from - a necklace being put on by a lady in an elegant gown (sitting at her dressing table) getting ready to go downstairs to a party at Versailles. (the necklace was French aristocracy and could have been from Versailles!) spoon - being brought by a made dressed in black tails comeing in an elegant carriage carring a package (last hand-made spoon from Paul Revere), was able to identify pictures and tell who was in them, the story around them. Took back the original ring - said very sad - lots of tears around this ring (mourning ring)! I was able to do at least 25 - 30 items with complete accuracy. Did it again with jewelry of a friend in Cleveland and identified the story surrounding it. I have never tried to do this before - was amazed at my ability(?)! Want to know more about it -

Spookiest experience happened in a dream - (Dianna and are both psychic and we are synergistic when were are together - have known each other since middle school) - I was in my bed. All of a sudden Dianna opened my door (I was in Cleveland - she lives in Maryland). She looked at me - I asked her if she was okay - she said yes - I said No you're not - lifted the covers for her the climb in - she started to sob. I could feel her in my arms - feel the sobs. I woke feeling that I had to call her - the saddness was about death - somebody had died. I called her that evening. Asked if she was okay - asked why I asked. Explained dream. ( her first husband committed suicide after they were divorced and her son (age 26) died several years ago) She said a friend had given her some tapes on death - she had been listening to them - could not deal with her pain - told herself to deal with it while she slept - and woke up feeling refreshed - calm and not at all upset. When I told her of the dream - she was amazed - said she was there. We both feel that it was a tranportation experience. She did say that she had felt very comforted... Amazing - Am I loney - or just a little loose in attic??
