Karla wants to know why she sometimes makes people feel uncomfortable.

Hello Morgana,
My name is Karla and I have for years felt very atuned to the 'spiritual'. As a child I spent years sleeping with 8 to 10 blankets covering me as I was fearful of all that surrounded me. I would sense another 'presence' in the room and if I would peek out of my covers I would see nothing but total darkness surrounding me, even though there was always a hall light left on for me. I would be unable to see my hand in front of my face. At girlhood parties when playing our 'occult games' I was always levitated to a height beyond the shoulders of my girlfriends.
I have always felt 'protected' and in many ways 'special', though I know this is an extremely egocentric term. As an adult I have been thrust into situations which have taken me face to face with 'supernatural situations' (or at least this has been my interpretation of them). People who do not know me constantly come up to me and tell me they sense something 'otherworldly' about me, and one day while in a New Age book store perusing the shelves the woman from behind the counter asked me to leave as I was 'making her uncomfortable' . . . no further explantion, simply, 'uncomfortable'. I am not a negative person, so I cannot explain her reluctance at having me in her shop.
I have had many recurring dreams and many very 'real' dreams in which I have come 'face to face' with persons I do not know but who I have had to confront. I have felt at times as though I have been transported, though I can not be certain. I know this letter is extremely vague and eclectic but I guess it is just my way of reaching for an answer as to why I have for so many years been extremely fascinated with the supernatural and why I have been the focus of attention in the past. I would love any feed back you could give. I can take the time to detail more in depth for you, situations if you would like, but I am rather pressed for time at the moment.

Dear Karla,

Thank you for your letter. You do not need to apologise for the way you wrote, I follow your thread exactly.

It is good that you feel atuned with the spiritual universe and I do believe that you appear to be more open than most to linking in with it. But, albeit that you were recently in a New Age bookshop, I do not feel that you have been developing the arts that you have. Have you done any studying of the subject? Would you like me to recommend some reading for you?

You know, the darkness itself is not frightening and maybe you realised this as a child. Now learn to move at your will through that darkness, contact those you want to reach, not just those who blunder into your life and dreams. Clearly, the bridge is in place. Please let me know what 'supernatural situations' you have been in, so that we can look at those together and see what is being shown to you.

Please don't feel egocentric. Everyone has the capacity you refer to. You have accepted it and to a certain extent welcomed it. It is wonderful to feel so protected and again that is something you should develop. Do you still levitate? This is sometimes lost in adulthood. I would be interested to know. Do keep in touch.
